    IAAF Diamond League, London

    Sat 25 Jul 2015

Congratulations to Charlie Grice who has firmly staked his claim to being Britain's leading 1500M/Mile athlete. In a field bristling with talent he ran a tactically astute race (the Elmsley Carr Mile) to finish 4th in 3:55:27 just 40/100ths behind winner Asbel Kiprop. He had the satisfaction too of beating arch rivals Ross Murray and Chris O'Hare and, having achieved the 1500M qualifying time a week previously, must be high in confidence ahead of the world championships in Beijing (22-30 August). Go Charlie!
