Training with Brighton Phoenix
At Brighton Phoenix you'll find a varied training timetable with something going on almost everyday.
You are welcome to come along to training sessions for two or three weeks to see whether you will be happy at the club. If you then decide to join, we will ask you to consider joining (see the Membership page). All athletes must be members if they wish to continue training with and competing for the club.
|Monday||Tempo Run – 18:40 for 19:00 start (suitable for those running an 18 minute 5k or faster)|
Middle distance training – 18:15
|Brick (Bike/Run) – 18:30|
|Tuesday||Strength and conditioning – 18:00|
Club track night, junior and senior sessions from 5.30-8pm - see junior and senior training sections for further details
|Thursday||Athletes on specific strength and development programmes & weights|
|Senior long runs suitable for all athletes from alternating start points – 18:30|
|Swimming Training – 17:30|
|Saturday||Morning long run or cycle (see Facebook or email group)|
|Middle distance training groups (grass in the winter, track in the summer)|
|Parkrun – 09:00|
|Sunday||Morning long run or cycle (see Facebook or email group)|
