Seniors (age 17 and over)
You are welcome to come along to 3 free taster sessions to see whether you will be happy at the club, but please use the 'Apply now' link below first, as for obvious health and safety reasons we need to get a few details from you (emergency contact details etc.) which will be kept securely.
All athletes must be members if they wish to continue training with and competing for the club after the 3 free sessions. Please take a look at the information on our training pages to see which sessions you would like to attend.
Once you have completed the 3 sessions our annual subscription is £45, or £35 for full-time students and unwaged. We also have some other discretionary rates and a financial hardship scheme. Membership includes entry to Withdean Stadium on training nights (Wednesdays 5.30pm-8pm), your Brighton Phoenix running vest the ability to book swim sessions and UK Athletics registration fee.
Membership is renewable annually and the membership year runs from April to the following March. Initial membership lasts up to 15 months depending on joining date.
Any athlete aged 11 or over who wishes to compete as a First Claim member in UKA sanctioned events must be registered by the club with England Athletics who will then send a licence to each individual athlete.
