Brighton Phoenix Open/BMC Races

On a lovely evening, this was a great success with full entries for all races.
Phoenix was well represented and there were many fine performances. Phoenix race winners were all junior athletes – Rudi Spray, Fenton Bingham, Max Andrews and Finlay Bigg.

Charlotte Matthews continues her good form finishing 3rd female in the East Grinstead triathlon! As we all know the wind was gusting creating treacherous riding conditions which caused her a few issues!

With a heavy cross wind of around 22mph, conditions were less then ideal for the Norwood Paragon 25 mile TT this weekend! John Tindell, Nigel Herron, and Ananda Mello-Costa braved the elements and took on the course anyway!

Rich Moult went back to the Hove Park Crit and improved on his previous result finishing 3rd getting nipped at the line by half a wheel! Simon Taylor also raced making his debut but spent a little too long at the front and finished 9th.

Three Forts Half & Marathon

Zeina Clare, Brian Friend, and Liz Halliday both entered the Three Forts Challenge, a testing full and half marathon with 3450ft and 1450ft of climbing resectively!
