Guernsey Graniteman is a half-ironman race (1.9k swim; 56 mile bike; 13.1 mile run) held every two years with a maximum of 100 entrants. Seasoned middle-distance triathlete Anita Jones coming back from injury and newbie Jim Whitelegg, who has been progressing through tri distances all year, represented Phoenix.
