Sat 11 Feb 2017
The final meeting of the cross country league was close to being called off because of the conditions on the course. In the event, a shorter course was agreed and all races went ahead as planned. Our strong turnout was maintained and we came back with a number of medals - including v60 gold for Paul Whelpton, U20 golds for Tara Bage and Ben Matthews, U15 silver for Alice Wright, U17 bronze for Naomi Fonteyn, and Vet bronze for Dave Carter.
Team honours at the end of the season were: silver for U15 girls, and bronze for U17 women, senior women and senior men.
