Brighton Marathon
Sun 12 Apr 2015
Another beautiful day for the supporters but the heat and the wind made this quite a testing day to run a marathon. Nonetheless our runners did not disappoint, and Tom Sanderson deserves a special mention for dipping under 3 hours for the first time, finishing in 95th place; and Mark Cossey just a fraction short of sub-3 in his first marathon. The list of (big) PBs is impresive.
The results unfortunately do not allow a look-up by club so please email the Brighton Phoenix Media email address if you are missing and would like to be added.

Thanks for your emails about the Weakest Link. Sam from The Jog Shop has put together the finish results for the event (above). The event has grown so much in the past two years and to keep the costs as low as possible we unfortunately can't support working out all the split times. However, Sam does have several pages with multiple columns of times and numbers at the shop so if you didn't manage to get your own split time on the evening feel free to pop in to the shop and have a look through with Sam. -

Congratulations to all who finished the marathon this year. The weather was less then idea with some tough winds to contend with along the seafront! Regardless, it was good to see that Hildi Mitchell didn't have to help someone across the finish this year!!
I also must apologies in advance as the results system on the Brighton Marathon Website does not allow me to sort by Club and also does not give positions by chip time so your result on here might not match what you have received by text! Some information was also missing from the website (shown as ----). If this is the case, please contact brightonphoenixmedia@gmail.com. Could you also let me know if your name is missing please!?
