Southwater Relays
Sun 1 Sep 2013
It was a cold start to the day for the Southwater relays but the sun eventually came out making for great racing conditions! Wes's timing chip came off during the bike leg so his bike time includes T2. His team also just missed out on finishing 3rd in their category by the narrowest of margins as the results show a dead heat!

Competitors had a long 200m slog through soft sand to get to transition and then struggled through a windy undulating 3 lap bike course followed with a undulating run along the seafront. Congratulations to Colin Simpson who toock the 2nd qualifying place!

Cambridge Triathlon
Sun 11 Aug 2013
In the lead up to the event, blue green algae was found in the lake so they were forced into holding a duathlon instead of a triathlon which didn't suit Colin as he was nursing an ankle injury. But with painkillers at the ready, it didn't stop him showing us what he can do when his bike doesn't let him down as he won his age group! He did have to take another one on the chin though as he was slower then Roland adding another loss to the one sided battle they have been having this year...
