Brighton Phoenix 10K_

The Brighton Phoenix 10K is our flagship race, taking place on the middle Wednesday evening in July.

It’s a celebration of our club values in a single event: "inclusive excellence" means we welcome everyone. No matter whether you run for Phoenix, another club or if you’re a free spirit, at the Phoenix 10k everyone is welcome. All paces and abilities are present and celebrated at the race.

Next event: Wednesday 15 July 2026

Start time: 19:30
Location: Hove lawns

Supporting: A substantial part of the funds raised by the 10k go to our partner charity – the Brighton-based The Clock Tower Sanctuary, which supports young people experiencing homelessness. Remaining funds are reinvested in the club to help with the development of our athletes. This year we are also supporting MIND Brighton in memory of Phoenix club member Robbie Fitzgibbon.

The course: An out-and-back, fast course. The race runs west towards Shoreham on the promenade. After Hove Lagoon, the course meets Basin Road South. Following Shoreham Docks, the race turns at Carats Café at 5km, returning to the finish at Hove Lawns.
