Junior athlete performance awards

On 21st December at Withdean track night, Coaches Andy Bone, Nicola Swanson and Ginette Read presented the first batch of Junior Athlete Squad awards to members of the Under 13yrs coaching group. 

These awards were implemented in 2022, to encourage young athletes to enter and represent Phoenix in age group competition.

Matthew Cheeseman with his brother Christopher and Frank Smith, having represented Phoenix in a minimum of 6 road, country, sportshall and track events this year, also qualified for their winter and summer badges.

Congratulations to Matthew, Christopher and Frank on their awards and for turning out in all weathers in the famous Phoenix colours.
