Additional results and upcoming events

A quick round-up of news and results :

On 13th November, Alice Wright and Maia Hardman competed in the British Cross Challenge event at Teardrop Lakes, Milton Keynes. Alice came home in a fantastic 4th place in the 5k race, while Maia ran in the 7.2k event, coming home in 35th.

Brighton 10k - Inter Counties competition

Phoenix athletes Kate Natkiel, Bobby Searle and Amy Harris represented Sussex in this event-within-the-event at the Brighton 10k. They finished 4th 5th and 6th Sussex athletes and even though Sussex won the team event with 3 athletes from Lewes finishing in front of the Phoenix women, our girls finished an unofficial 4th in the team standings ahead of Herts, Essex, Kent & Berkshire. Hopefully there will be more chances for the Phoenix women to don the yellow and blue of Sussex later this season and beyond.
