Heiß in der Stadt!
Not content with 1 marathon in scorching conditions (London), Barry Blackwell thought he would try Stockholm too....
"I thought London was hot but I did the Stockholm marathon last Saturday ( June 2nd) in 29/30 degrees!! Managed to complete it though in 3:48. Enjoyed it more than London and would recommend it's scenic, varied route with a few incline challenges"
In no less than its 40th year, 1089 of the 15,755 starters did not finish due to the heat making this even more of an achievement.
