Miles of success

It was a fantastic turn out by Phoenix's young runners on Sunday for the Brighton Half Marathon Youth Races.

By far the biggest team of competitors across the age groups, we were fortunate to pick up many trophies over these mile long races.

Phoenix took first and second places in the 15-17 Girls; Anna Berry led with Charlotte Mathews behind her for most of the race however in the closing stages Charlotte timed her sprint finish to take the 1st spot with Anna just behind in 2nd.

Further first places were seen with Holly Luscombe (13-14 Girls in 5.50); Alex Brothwell (11-12 Boys in 5.41) and Milly Dickinson (joint first in the 11-12 Girls with 6.02).

Well done to everyone who ran!
