Represented

This year was the 26th year of the Brighton Half Marathon, one of the largest running events in Sussex. Starting on Maderia Drive, the race takes you along the cliffs by Ovingdean before turning to head out to Hove Lagoon and back.
This flat course allows for some fast times...wind permitting!

With a massive 29 Phoenix athletes running and a total of 11 PBs we made sure the race was well represented.

Of special mention this year is Darryl Hards who goes from strength to strength with a new PB of 1:09:28, finishing 6th overall. New Pbs were also seen for Jose Luceron (13th senior man), Tom Sanderson, Paul Lawrence, Matt Greenall & Richard Thompson. Nice work to Malcolm Kemp who finished 8th in the Men's O60 group.

Congratlations to Bobby Searle for finishing 4th senior women with a new PB of 01:24:25, and Hannah Carery (18th Senior women), Gill Checkely and Georgia Flowers for their new PBs.
