Another UK Champ

Congratulations to Toby Harries, Spencer Thomas, Maia Hardman and Finley Bigg for their successes at the England Athletics Indoor championships.

Congratulations to Toby Harris for winning the England Athletics U20 indoor champion at 200metres. At just 17 years of age, Toby won all his heats and finished with a season's best to clinch the title. As well as being the quickest U20 time this year, his 21.26 is the third fastest time in all age groups in 2016.

Silver successes in the 800 metres were seen with Spencer Thomas finishing second in the U20 category and Maia Hardman in the U15. Maia ran a new personal best in 2:18:96 to win silver, and is now ranked a rather respectable 3rd in her age group in the country this year. Hats off to Spencer who is ranked 1st in the UK U20 at 800m this year. Fin, who finished 2nd in the U20 800m heat and 4th in the final, is now ranked 8th in the UK at that distance this year.
