Congratulations to Finn McNally who won the Preston Park 5k parkrun on Saturday 28 November. Finishing in 14:47 he achieved a new pb and a new course record.
Perhaps enthused by the Phoenix awards that evening, Phoenix were out in a force that matched the storm that blew later; Ross Skelton, in his first parkrun, finished second, Josh Guilmant 3rd, and Dave Carter 4th. James Miles then took 6th, Tobias Bremer 7th, Donald Maclellan 8th & Paul Weir 9th! Josh, James & Donald all achieved new pbs.
In the women's category Liz Durman finished 3rd with a new pb just behind her sister Louise Durman who came 2nd in her first Park run. Phoenix's Bobby Searle finished 4th also with a new pb, whilst Hannah Carey took 5th, Gill Checkley 10th & Georgia Flowers 11th.
Meanwhile at Hove Park run, of the 372 finishers Phoenix's Emily Muzio finished 100th in the 11-14 age category & Brian Friend achieved an age graded percentage of 81.92%.
