Glorious at Goodwood

The first of the four Brooks Cross County races was held at Goodwood on Saturday. With categories for U20, Senior & Vet Women & Men and U17, U15, U13 Girls & Boys, it was good to see Phoenix athletes participate in all races.

Of special mention is the Phoenix 1,2, 3 of Milly Dickinson, Eloise Nicoll and Alice Wright in the U13 Girls and to Ollie Johnson who finished first U17 Boy. Both U13 Girls & U17 Boys are now placed first in the league.

Well done to Naomi Fonteyn who finished 4th U15 Girls & for the U15 Boys team who are currently placed 4th in the league as are the Vet Men's team.

Phoenix women are currently placed top of division 2. Good to see the vet women were out in force with a return of some familiar names (Liz, Mona, Anita!). They are currently placed 7th & 9th and U17 girls placed 5th.

Next race is at Bexhill November 21st. Runners...your club needs you!
