Archie Davis (16) has opened the season very well, starting with an 800m last Wednesday at the Phoenix BMC. Archie ran 1.52.4, a 2.5 second PB, moving him above Steve Ovett into 3rd place in the Sussex all time fastest U17 800m, behind Charlie Grice and Johan Boakes. That time also places him 2nd in the UK U17 rankings.

On Saturday Archie raced the Stretford British Milers Club Grand Prix 1500m and clocked 3.51.81 in windy conditions. This gets him inside the Commonwealth Youth Games qualifying time of 3.53. The competition is to be held in Samoa later this summer. That time also places him in the top 20 all time UK fastest U17's.

Archie is now going after the World Youth Qualification time of 3.51.0 in his next 1500m in Sports City Manchester in two weeks time.

Spencer Thomas (17) qualified to run for GB U20 in Loughborough this weekend, his first GB international vest. He raced well, coming 2nd to a Senior England International with a PB of 1.49.61, his first time under the 1.50 barrier. He now has his sights on the European U20 qualification time (1.49.0). Spencer is ranked no.1 U20 800m in the UK

Robbie Fitzgibbon (19) also represented GB U20 in Loughborough. He ran a 3.48 to come 4th and is currently ranked 3rd in the UK U20 1500m. Robbie is also gunning for the European U20 1500m qualification.
