Phoenix medals sweep
Phoenix athletes leave with a sweep of medals and a British record at the England Young Athletics Indoor Championships at Sheffield.
In the U17 200m, Toby Harris stormed to the line to take the gold medal with a new British indoor record of 21:46. Having already won bronze in the 60m, with a time of 6.93, Toby was in a class of his own in the 200m.
Spencer Thomas had a tighter finish but just as good result finishing first in 1:52:24 in the U17 800m.
In the U20 1500m Robbie Fitzgibbon stormed to silver in day 1 of the championships.
Archie Davis finished a very respectable silver in the U20 800m with quite a margin between him and bronze.
Well done to Finley Bigg for finishing second in the semi final & Sophie Mansfield for comming first in her heat.
