Cross county campaign

Phoenix runners Almi Nerurkar and Naomi Fonteyn continue their cross county campaign.

At Parliament Hill on 25th January the girls, running in the U13 category, were pitched against athletes from across the South of England. Covering 3000 meters of cross country terrain, Almi proved the victor coming 6th in 00:12:51 to Naomi's 10th (00:13:10).

At the South East Inter-counties cross-country event at Southampton, on Saturday, it was Naomi who finally gained the upper hand over her team mate, finishing 11th to Almi's 19th.
