Bruce Masters Lancing
Senior athletes battled it out at the Sussex Masters Championships at Lancing, Saturday 18th. Although sunny on the day, the recent rain resulted in the runners battling some slippery, hilly terrain.
Races comprised of O50 and O60 men (5 miles), O34 & 40 women (4 miles) and O40 men (6 miles).
Bruce Warren put in another amazing performance in the O50 men to take silver by 1 second in 32.24. This places the O50 Men's A Team in bronze position with Phoenix B & C placed 9th & 10th.
Phoenix O60 Men continue their reign and are now placed in silver position in the overall rankings however it is tight at the top - there being only 1 point between them and Bronze.
Phoenix O40 Men and O35 Women have both put in solid performances and are now placed 6th. It is good to see Louise picking up form and the return of Anita!
O45 women - you're club needs you! A complete team next time could place you on the score board....
