And so the XC season begins!

A lot of local clubs enjoyed some success at the 12th Annual Goodwood Cross Country meeting with Gold medals going to six clubs. As mentioned, Phoenix V40 Mens team secured Gold and the U13 Girls, U15 Boys, U17 Men, V50 Men, and V60 Men teams all took Silver. The Senior Mens team, last years champions, also took Bronze.
There were some great performances from individual members. Max Pickard (12:35) and Bob Novis (15:41) set the fastest times in their respective age groups and Archie Davis (09:00) took the course record which was previously held by Charlie Grice (09:12) since 2008.Almi Nerukar raced the fastest U13 Girls lap in 10:21, a tantalising 1 second behind the course record, with Naomi Fonteyn also in the top 10 fastest.
