Sam Wade: World Champ!

A huge congratulations to Phoenix's Sam Wade for winning gold in the World Standard Distance Championship Triathlon series in the 20-24 age group.

The race, which saw a shortened swim because of the colder temperatures, took in Buckingham palace, Trafalgar Square and the Embankment. It remains to be seen if Sam was able to take in the historic sites as he raced to the finish in. 01:47:23 - 4 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.
