It wasn't a very nice day for running but it was even worse for cycling - three of our members took on the 100km course, finishing soaking wet at the top of Ditchling Beacon. Riding with them for most of the way, Richard Nerurkar managed to achieve the sub-4 hour gold standard.

Yup – 65 miles of high tempo cycling with enough ups and downs to make it interesting. Overall there is 1700M of climb culminating in the ascent to Ditchling Beacon. The gold/silver/bronze designations refer to standard attained in the event.
