Club records and fast times indoors

New York, Boston, Gent and Sheffield, everyone's talking about, club records.

A big indoor track weekend in USA, Belgium and UK.

Toby Harries set a new 400m indoor club record with his 48.32 in Gent.

George Mills followed up his sub-13 5k last week, with a super quick mile race at the Armoury in New York, recording 3.48.94 for 3rd, which might have been a win, had he not unluckily had his heels clipped on the last lap.

Ellie Baker continued her indoor season in Boston taking 2 seconds off last weekends 800m time with 2:01.94 in a very close finish, to show that winter has been a good one.

Leo Brewer, currently studying at Yale University in USA, ran a giant sized PB in the mile at the same Boston indoor meeting, coming 3rd in his race with 4:03.28, almost 7 seconds faster than his time last weekend, to show that he also is rounding into good form.

Sam Stapeley, who runs second claim for Phoenix and is coached by Bruce Warren as part of the "PHX Rising" group, ran a swift 1.55.21 in the England Athletics Under 17 championships in Sheffield for 3rd place in his heat.
