George Mills leads the field in pouring rain
Fantastic Phoenix performances at this weekends British Championships and World Championship trials.
In the heats ; Grace Vans Agnew ran a seasons best 800 in 2.06 ; Archie Davis qualified for the 800m final in 3rd ; Alice Wright ran a gutsy race in 4th place to qualify for the final of the 1500m as did Ellie Baker finishing an easy 3rd ; while George Mills looked a class above the rest as he won his heat.
In the finals Alice Wright was up against some tough opposition finishing 12th. Ellie Baker was up with the leaders for most of the race, eventually finishing 4th. Archie Davis ran a seasons best 1.46.76 for 8th in his 800m and George Mills led for most of his 1500m final, just losing out in the run-in and finishing 3rd.
