PB tips from Goodwood 10k

A solid turn out of Phoenix runners, in an array of colourful trainers for what turned into a perfect day for PBs.

Top tips for PBs seemed to be: performance enhancing haircuts - Simon Heath’s tip for a guaranteed 3rd place. Go faster pink arm-warmers from Jon Clays (matching pink shorts a step too far according to his wife, seemed reasonable), the chocolate milk diet from Amy Harris, or 200km training only listening to Beautiful People, Chris Brown on repeat - Nick Alexandrou’s tip. We only had to listen to it 14x waiting for him when he forgot to tell us he didn’t need a lift home. These all seem to be tried and tested PB methods but user discretion advised.

Super strong running from everyone, with a special mention to Terry Avey, now into his 70s and still under the 1h mark.
