World lead for George

Only a day or two after returning from a prolonged stint at altitude in South Africa, George Mills, running for his professional team, On Running Europe, won the 1500metres in the opening round of the World Indoor tour in Karlsruhe, Germany on Friday 27th January. His time of 3:35:88 is a world lead for 2023 and inevitably breaks his own Phoenix club record and indoor PB.

To run away from an international class field and win by nearly 1.5 seconds shows how fit he currently is, especially with all that hard altitude training in his legs. 

We look forward to more such results from George indoors this winter !
