A 3000m indoor win for Leo Brewer representing Yale University in their traditional match against Dartmouth and Columbia and Charlie Grice was 7th in an indoor mile at Michigan following his recruitment to the Very Nice Track Club professional group in USA. We look forward to more visits to Withdean by his team-mates in our summer track season.
On the roads it was fast times for Ash, Kate, Karla and Amy in the Valencia 10k, now one of the worlds leading races for personal bests - Hopefully none were held-up at the start in what looked like a horrible stampede as runners fell when the gun went.
This weekend it was Farnborough Half Marathon time and Phoenix were repersented by Tony, Alison and Terry.
In South Africa, 3 weeks altitude training came to end for Miles, Almi and Archie. Lets hope for some good results in winter races for the trio.
