Owen Wallek hit the front for the first time this season running strongly on the hills to win by 80metres.
Another Phoenix win for Matt Geddes finishing 7 seconds in front of the next Under 20 man
Amy Harris was also strong on the hills but would have needed another lap in order to catch the leader, but said she was happy with the 2nd place. A good warm-up for the following days Mince Pie 10 mile.
For the under 11's, Stella Gambie shadowed the leader, only losing ground on the uphill section and held on to record 2nd, her best result of the season.
In the Under 20's, Flora Davis ran a strong final lap to take 3rd place. Highlighting her return to fitness after so many injuries.
Tim Clarke in the U40's and Eogan McKenna for the over 70's both came home in 3rd place
