Phoenix Parkrun Round-Up (22nd October 2022)

Welcome to this week's Phoenix Parkrun Round-Up in which we take a look at the achievements of club members at parkrun from the weekend. From PBs to milestones to parkrun tourism, this is a chance to celebrate both personal achievement and the joy of running!

If your achievement isn't listed below then that likely means you don't have Brighton Phoenix listed as your club on parkrun! We use the parkrun website, the Club Strava page and www.thepowerof10.info to search out performances and stories. If you have an achievement you want to shout about then reach out to Billy Gates on WhatsApp.

We're particularly interested in receiving photos of Phoenix runners at parkruns to include in these articles too - PB or not!

Notable Mentions

• Andrew Haig topped the age grading at Hove Promendade parkrun this week with a huge 85.57% (22:59)
• Mark Halls ran an impressive 18:55 at Worthing parkrun netting an 83.73% age grading
• Alison Moore came in as 1st female at Hastings parkrun (19:38)
• Lukas Nerurkar took 1st overall at Lancing Beach Green parkrun (19:49)

There was a huge turnout this week with almost 60 club members out at a parkrun, well done to everyone who got out there! See Phoenix out enjoying Hove Promenade below.
