Grice takes Bronze in Singapore

In a fierce race, Charlie left it late finishing fourth only to find that the third placed Moroccan Abdelhadi Labali had been disqualified. The race was won by Mohammed Geleto (Ethopia) in 2:19.54 (PB), second was Hamza Driouch (Qatar) 2:21.25. A magnificent achievement in very humid conditions, Charlie had qualified for Sunday’s final by winning his heat on 18 August in 2:24.74.
Well done Charlie. We can’t wait to see the medal.
