Darryl Hards wins Seaford Half Marathon

Daryll has been on the comeback trail for some time now and, after terrific runs at the Brighton half and full marathons this year, this win is well-deserved. It was a hot day and this hilly off-road course offers quite a challenge. Darryll won by a convincing 1 minute and 24 seconds from second-placed Mats Gedin of Arena in a time of 1:24:39. As so often Daryll was accompanied by brother Lewis (31st 1:39:59) and father Kim (72nd 1:47:26). Other Phoenix competitors Daren Elliot, Terry Avey and Ivan Lyons also put in impressive performances. Results
