Hard work pays off
Four regulars at our Monday bike / run sessions allowed me to twist their arms into doing the Uckfield Duathlon, a run / bike / run event that is included in our multi sport club champs. Erica is a seasoned campaigner at Duathlon but Mark Cossey, Hannah Felton and Andrew Brooks are all new to multi sport this year and had not done Duathlon before. All had worked hard in the training sessions and I was confident they would perform well and hoped they would enjoy it. At last night's session (a recovery one) they all agreed they had indeed enjoyed it but better still their results are to be proud of, showing how their hard work has gained good rewards.
Mark was 1st man and overall winner
Erica was 1st woman
Andrew was 3rd man
Hannah was 4th woman
