Steve Atkinson won silver in the 800m and bronze in the 1500m M50 races at the British Masters Track and Field Championships at Alexander Stadium last week. Despite Saturday's windy conditions for the 1500m, he managed a pb of 4:31:99. The next day, rain added to the wind to make for even more challenging conditions for the 800m in which Steve was pleased to finish just a second behind the European silver medalist.
