Vets Vie for GB Vests

Some of the Phoenix vets are beginning to get excited about the World Masters Track and Field Championships being held in Malaga 5–16 September. It includes all the usual events plus cross country and road 10K and half marathon races.

We're talking about finding some accommodation as close in to the venues as possible and – well – enjoying ourselves whilst grabbing the opportunity to pull on a GB vest.

If you're interested, the first required step is to join one of the Masters clubs as second claim. The recommended ones are Veterans Athletic Club (VAC) or Southern Counties Veterans Athletic Club (SCVAC) then put yourself forward for the competition (entries open in July).
