Five get frosty in Friston
Sunday 6th November saw five Phoenix athletes run the Adder Friston 10mile.
In what was a very frosty start, the run took in parts of Friston forest and incorporated some clever sudden turns to make sure the runners were paying attention. The race was beautiful with some lovely views of the surrounding valleys and vibrant colours of the trees that almost took away from the hills.
Phoenix relished in the surroundings, finishing a strong 1st and 2nd (well done Aiden Briffett and Alex Bonzi) with Erica Martin a close 5th (1st female) and Kathryn Harnett and a poorly Liz Halliday 17th & 24th (4th & 6th female).
