Success at Frosty Aquathlon

At this year's Frosty Aquathlon held on a chilly but sunny Sunday 7th March morning Brighton Phoenix Tri managed to regain the team title. The race is an 800m swim followed by a 10km run and the Phoenix Phlyers of 3. Liam McNally (11:53/37:50) 49:43, 6. Malcolm Hughes (13:03/:37:52) 50:55, 15. Dr James Hayward (13:23/41:18) 54:41 and 19.Erica Martin (15:27/40:35) 56:02 beat off the challenge of the Tuff-Fitty team to win by 10 minutes in an aggregate time of 03:31:21.
Liam was 2nd senior male and Erica was 3rd lady.
Debbie Evers was the 1st female senior vet in a time of 1:06:27
We also had a second team, in fact there were only 3 teams entered, the Phoenix Phavourites were Andrew Seivewright, Elisabeth Brama, Rachel Bibby and Ananda MelloCosta
Also being run was the Frostbite over half the distance of the Frosty. In which Faye McClelland came 10th and was 5th lady
