All the way with the Phoenix 10k
The weather could not have been better timed with the rain and wind stopping in time for the race start. Won by Kent AC athlete James Connar in 31:00 the 6th Phoenix 10k saw 604 runners complete the flat course. Congratulations to Darryl Hards and Patrick Acaye making 9th and 10th (33:32 & 33:38 respectively) and to the County Medalists Paul Whelpton (Gold M60-69), Terry Avey (Bronze M60-69) and Andrew Haig (Gold M70+)
The UKA race adjudicator was very complimentary about the Phoenix team and the race Facebook page is busy with likes!
This race relies on the volunteers who help run it : thank you to race director Andy Bone and to everyone who helped with the organisation and marshalling.
