Abingdon gold

The 33rd running of the Abingdon Marathon on October 18th saw second claim Phoenix member Darryl Hards take the gold.

Abingdon is known for its quality field of club runners as it is very popular with those who don't get a London Marathon place. This year the race included championship runners for Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Middlesex counties as well as the Army AA Marathon Championships. Winning in 20:30:46, some 2 minutes ahead of the silver medal, Darryl also achieved a new PB.
