6 finalists in the National Champs

The English Schools Athletics Association (ESAA) National Championships is the 4th largest athletics event in the world. Held annually, it provides English Athletes the opportunity to compete against each other, as a County Team, to be the best in their field. Entry is by selection from results at primarily county championships.

Phoenix was proud to have 6 athletes compete in this event: Archie Davis (800m), Billy White (200m steeple chase), Daniel Eeles (800m), Finley Bigg (400m), Sophie Mansfield (800m) & Almi Nerurkar (1500m).

Not content with all our Athletes making it to their finals, we're also proud to report Billy White finished 3rd with a pb of 5:58:81 whilst Finley Bigg, who came 8th in his final, was close to taking the Phoenix club record. To top that Archie Davis (pictured) finished in Bronze position, earning him a place in the International Schools squad.

Fantsctic performances by all!
