Congratulations to Archie Davis who won his BMC race in Sheffield and broke the UK indoor U17 1500m record.

Finishing in a storming 3:56:82, Archie beat the record by over a second.

Coached by Phoenix's Jon Bigg, Archie is the 3rd Phoenix athlete to hold a UK 1500m record following in the esteemed footsteps of Steve Ovett (senior record) and Bridget Smyth (U 17).
