Phoenix Fourth
Wednesday 16th July saw Phoenix out in force as they hosted the 4th Phoenix 10km.
The flat course starts at Hove Lawns runs along the seafront to Carrot's Cafe and back. This year saw the return of Ben Tickner (back in the Phoenix vest!) setting a new course record of 30.05 on this sweltering night.
There was further Phoenix success with Andrew Haig finishing 2nd in his category in 42.40 & Terry Avery 3rd in his in 43.32
The race was a smooth operation and has received very positive feedback from athletes & spectators - a huge thank you to all the athletes who ran smoothly & the volunteers who helped the race run smoothly!
