A massive Phoenix 'hurrah' to Nigel Herron for finishing first in the V45 1500m, 800m AND 5000m races at the Sussex Masters County Championships.

Nigel has tried to play down this result stating he only had competition in the 5000m however he has run inside the Southern Veterans' AC standard for each event so is due 3 Sussex County Gold medals.

Nigel says: "It was quite a tiring day especially at the top end of V45. Maybe I will try the sprints next year as a V50!"
