Phoenix athletes choose competition to set new PBs

Haywards Heath Harriers Open

On Thursday 1st May Phoenix was represented by 15 competitors from under 11 to under 15 at the K2, in Crawley, for the Haywards Heath Harriers Open.

We had a fantastic evening with a lot of personal bests:

Long Jump:

Cassie Brewer Wren set a new PB with a jump of 3,53m whilst William Saunders (U13) broke his with a jump of 4,38m. Marina Reid Martin continued to jump from strength to strength with a PB jump of 5,14m.

Run:600m

In the U13 races Maia Hardman & Saoirse Mcguiness finished in 1.51.5 & 1.57.30 respectively. In the U11 category Mollie Dickinson won her race in 1.58. All 3 achieved personal best times.

Run: 150:

Beatrix Dalley finished second in 25.1sec, a PB for her too.
