Phoenix ensure Sussex Bronze
Phoenix Athletes help place Sussex third in the C.A.U Inter-county Cross-country Championships at Crofton Park, Birmingham.
Sussex U13 Girls team finished a respectable third behind Surrey and Merseyside at the Cross-Country Championships in Birmingham, thanks in part to the strong running from the Phoenix U13 girls.
Almi Nerurkar, who has consistently shown her strength at these events, came back from a fall to finish fourth - only 6 seconds away from a medal. Naomi Fonteyn who has also shown her class this season ran brilliantly to finish 10th.
In other races on the day Sam Wade finished first amongst the Sussex men in 54th, U17 men Jake Algar finished 69th and Archie Davies 91st for the U15 men.
