Phoenix boasted four winners at the Sussex Grand Prix Awards on 7 February.

The Sussex Grand Prix Road Race series comprises 20 events throughout the year (including Phoenix 10K) with 23 of the county's running clubs competing. Individuals are scored by position according to their eight best performances. The awards for the 2013 series were held at the Jack and Jill pub in Clayton on 7 February. The Phoenix prize winners were Bruce Warren - 1st M50 and 13th man overall, Tom Farsides - 2nd M50 and 17th man overall, Terry Avey 2nd M60, Andrew Haig 1st M65. Andrew has now won his category for three years running.

As a club we performed less well: Men were 10th, women were 19th, Men vets were 9th and women vets 20th.
