Roy Hayward - U13’s Girls report

After a fantastic cross country season with the under 13’s team winning the Brooks Cross Cross Country League Championships, with Almi winning individual Gold and Naomi winning individual Bronze.
Almi then went ok to win the individual gold with Naomi winning bronze in the Sussex Cross country championships at Stanmer park.
The girls followed this up last weekend with a brilliant win in the Sussex Road Relay, the U13’s team consisted of Almi, Naomi and Chloe who won the title with the B team taking a fantastic Bronze this consisted of Charlotte Matthews, Ateya Marshall and Louisa Saunders who had never run together as a team.
We turn our thoughts to track and field season with a lot of our younger team members moving up to Under 15’s. So who knows what we can achieve this summer with both age groups being represented at U13’s and U15’s girls.
Let’s hope the boys can step up this summer as well.
