    Longman Devil's Dyke Ultra

    Sun 7 Sep 2014

Andy Bone added his first Ultra Marathon to his running career with the Longman Devil's Dyke Ultra and finished 3rd in a time of 05:04:34. You'll just have to go back next year to make it in under 5 hours :)

'It was my first go at a longer marathon distance and finished in 5 hours, 4 minutes and 34 seconds.

Really well organised race and thoroughly recommended if you want an introduction to a longer race.'

    Wensleydale Wander

    Sat 12 Apr 2014

Liz Haliday completed the Wensleydale Wander, a 22 mile event for walkers and runners. She completed it at a steady pace of 3:54:59, managing to talk with a friend most of the way.

It’s a lovely route taking in parts of Wensleydale and Coverdale (N.Yorkshire) with some hills, a few race horses for company around the Middleham gallops, and an awful lot of styles and gates. For anyone interested in taking part next year, you get a cup of tea and sausage sandwich at about 15 miles!

It was a great event to prepare for a 50km trail race she intends to complete in May
