Get your spikes on....!
This Saturday (December 2nd) is the 3rd of 4 Sussex Cross Country League races. Held at Lancing, this is a tough up hill course with a lovely down hill to finish. It follows on from races at Goodwood and Lancing and looking at the results so far there is still everything to run for!
Bexhill Round up
Well done to Rosa Howe & Mather Noakes for finishing in the top 10 in the U11s.
U13 boy 9th (Mathew Connolly finished 5th at Bexhill) & u13 girl 8th.
U15 girls 4th thanks to Milly Dickinson's 6th at with the boys in 8th following Will Carey's win.
U17 men are 5th in the league thanks to Leo Brewer who finished 6th.
U17 women first in the league with Almi Nerurkar winning the women's race at Bexhill, to be first in her age group, with Naomi Fonteyn finishing 7th and Connie Jankowski 9th.
The senior & vet women have teams in the second divisions and are currently holding 4th position in the first division.
U20 men of Ross Skelton, Max Dumbrell and Max Pickard finished 2nd, 3rd & 6th at Bexhill, whilst vets Dave Carter & Donald Maclellan finished 3rd & 8th in their age group. The U20, senior & vet men are currently 2nd in division 1 with teams in the 2nd & 3rd division and the vets A team are 3rd.
So... get your spikes/trail shoes on as it's all to run for at Lancing!
